Way-On Expands its Operations

The SeeWoo Group today announced that the brand new Production Site of Way-On Foods is due to open at the end of March 2007.

Under construction since April 2006, the Way-On site is an impressive 24,000 square feet and houses 6000 sq ft of freezers / chillers and over £1 million of state of the art food production facilities.

Way-On is famous for its award winning chilli oils which come in a variety of flavours including shrimps, scallops & anchovies. Way-On fish and meat balls are also extremely popular with retailers with the sesame prawn toast and won ton dumplings being amongst their most popular products. Freshly prepared daily, Way-On source only the freshest and best quality ingredients for their products which is what General Manager Peter Yong says sets them apart from other producers "We are very proud of the quality of our fresh products. We run them through extensive trials and testing to ensure the very best taste. We have spent many years developing our Chilli Oil range and its popularity is evidence of the quality".

The SeeWoo Group has recently expanded it's operations into Europe. As part of the Group, Way-On Foods also has plans to export it's products to Europe. Yong said "Europe is a very exciting opportunity for us. There is a definite demand for authentic and high quality products and we are filling that gap in the market. The SeeWoo Distribution Centre in Rotterdam provides us with the ideal base to service our European customers".
